In this article we're going to explain how to import projects.

Article classification

  • Versions: Starter, Team, Business, Enterprise
  • Requirements: Admin rights

It is very easy to import project information to Taimer.
This can be done in the Settings tab.

  1. Open the settings by clicking on the cogwheel icon on the bottom of the blue side bar. 
  2. Click on Admin tools
  3. Click on Project import

There are clear instructions for importing projects in Taimer

1. Read through the instructions here

2. Download the Excel template for project import from the admin settings

3. You can check the account, user and branch IDs by using the ID search

4. Use the Browse button to select the project you wish to import ja click on Import file

5. Choose the projects you want to import

NB! Read the information below before you start to import project information!

if you want to follow up for example work hours by branches, you should define the branches at this point. 

Defining branches in the settings tab

  1. Open the settings by clicking on the cogwheel icon on the bottom of the blue side bar. 
  2. Click on admin tools
  3. Click on Tags and classifications
  4. Choose Edit
  5. Choose Branch of Business 

-> Here you can add new branches and edit the excisting ones 

Remember to save the changes by clicking on the Save button on top.
