How to activate project invoicing

If you are tracking hours to a project, or have incurred project-related expenses or travel expenses that need to be reimbursed or have bills that need to be invoiced, you can do it easily using Taimer's project invoicing or invoice using project details feature. Things to remember before invoicing project details:

The project must be billable

There are three default invoicing options for projects - billable projects, non-billable projects and vacations/leaves.

  • Navigate to the project that needs to be invoiced
  • Click on invoicing on the extreme right of the project card
  • Scroll down to invoicing details
  • Choose billable under invoicing type

Activate the invoicing method for the project

If you are invoicing tracked hours, you need to activate hours tracking. Similarly, if you're invoicing bills, activate bills, if you're invoicing expenses and travel expenses, activate expenses and travel expenses, if you're scheduling or setting up automatic payments, activate scheduled and automatic invoicing, and if you invoicing a sales quote activate the relevant option.
